Welcome to my little writing corner. I count my many blessings to be a cherished wife and an ever-learning-loving-growing mother to 3 amazing children this side of Heaven and a precious little boy in Heaven. Together as a family we pastor a precious church community called Redeeming Hope Church. I've had the privilege of loving and following Jesus Christ since my earliest memories as a child. No matter what I've gone through in life, He has always been so present. At heart, I'm an encourager ... so this is a place where I get to wear my heart on my sleeve and share my journey of learning to live a life of love in action.

The Day of Promise has Arrived

Precious friends ... The big day has finally arrived! Come 4pm today we will be taken into theater to meet our precious miracle son! Our hearts are filled with the Promises of our Beloved Jesus. This post is our hearts response of praise and adoration to Him because He has faithfully carried us through each day with "heart peace", strength, hope, faith and incredible love. He has coached us in how to stand leaning into His Almighty power, wisdom and goodness and has taken all the fear out of this journey. Today our hearts are soooooo excited. It is the day of promise ... Zac's appointed day to shine forth His Glory. As a family we want to thank each and every person and family who has lavished their love, encouragement and prayers to stand with us in looking to Jesus, the Great Physician in knitting Zac's inward parts intricately and wholly in my womb. We will keep you posted as we rejoice in great expectation at witnessing God's amazing love in action! Our eyes are fixed on Him! All our love, Brett, Janine, Tianna and Angelee

There is absolutely no way I could pray a prayer more beautifully and perfectly than Adeye, so I will just repeat her prayer for you: I am praying that Zac's heart gains strength as The Healer breathes LIFE and HEALING into those places of his little heart that desperately need a touch from Him. Our God is mending those little parts as we speak. In the sweet name of Jesus. Amen and Amen!

Im here from Adeye's blog & just want you to know I am praying, in full belief, right alongside yall that the Lord would stretch out his hand to HEAL & perform mighty signs & wonders in the name of Jesus Christ (acts 4:30). I pray in belief with you that Jesus is the same yesterday & today, as He says in His word, & that the God who gave sight to the blind can call what is not in your sweet's heart as though it were. I also want to tell you a snippet of my daughter's miracle story to hopefully give you a little encouragement. LONG story short, she was born with a rare brain disorder & after an MRI revealed several significatn deficits in her sweet brain, we were told the prognosis of her life and normal was "impossible." "She may never walk, talk or have any noticeable cognitive functioning" we were told. And the anniversary of that day is in 8 minutes. Tonight we celebrated what we now call our redemption day. After getting her results, through the grief & pain I know you are WELL aware of, we felt the Lord begin asking us if we believed His word. ALL yes or ALL no. Do we believe Him when he says all things are possible? Etc, etc, etc. What about the gospel of Jesus Christ is realistic or "possible"? NOTHING. But through the grace gift of the holy spirit enabling us... WE BELIEVE. Two years later we have a medically "impossible", unexplainable daughter. Walking, talking & leaving every doctor/therapist she ever sees speechless. Unable to explain how it could be possible for her to do what she does. Now her neurologist says, "The baby does not match the brain scan." "Her progress is utterly impossible, I would NOT believe it if I didnt see it." I could go ON and ON.... I share it in hopes that it stirs hope in your hearts as you pray & plead for the mercy of the Lord to look upon sweet Zac and lift His healing hand of power and strength over him. He has given my daughter's brain what IS NOT THERE & I believe He will give sweet Zac's heart what is not there as well & will risk praying in belief with you. Much love to you all.

A day of promise indeed. God has heard all the prayers for Zac. Actually, Daniel tells us He heard the first time, the first prayer. How amazing is that. And He WILL answer. Zac will be healed because God has a plan for this child that He created.

Hello,
We're PRAYING for you and your precious baby here in Minnesota!

Praying, Praying, Praying! <3

Love,
Jodi
I just saw on Adeye's blog that your precious baby boy is now with Jesus. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your son on earth. The separation, while temporary, is the hardest thing to endure (from experience). I cannot help but think that our Chrissie is already trying to boss him around (she LOVES to be the 4-year-old boss), showing him the ins and outs of Paradise, assuring him that everything's going to be just fine for his family on earth, and waiting contentedly alongside him for the day their loved ones on earth join them in heaven. While I know you wish more than anything that your precious child were in your arms right now, alive on earth, there is no doubt that your baby boy is in Good Hands, the hands of our Savior, where there's truly no safer place to be. I am praying for you all as you walk this road of grief. If there's ever anything I can do, please let me know. www.AllArePreciousInHisSight.blogspot.com. www.BossYourHeart.com

I am so sorry for the grief you are dealing with. Zac is forever in His arms. Now, he will watch you from above and take care of you. When you are outside and you look to the Heavens, you will feel the warmth of the sun on your face...this will be Zac hugging and kissing you. He will never be forgotten...but missed very dearly. As you walk in faith, may the Lord comfort you during this difficult time and may He forever remind you of His wisdom and care.
God Bless you and God Bless Zac.

I just wanted to say that I just read Adeye's blog, and I'm praying for you. As his mom, and the one who carried him for so long, I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is to say goodbye. You'll be in my prayers. God be with you. :)

So so so very sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to your little Zac...at least for now. The pain must be great, but know that Jesus is holding your baby in his arms until the day comes when you yourself will be able to hold your precious, wiggling, perfectly healthy, LIVING glorified son. And then God will wipe away every single tear you cried from now until then. I am praying for you. God bless.

Reasons to Celebrate

I am quickly typing this in between trying to pack up for Cape, and while packing I am having this to celebrate :0) What to celebrate you may ask ... well you would be amazed at how many amazing blessings you will discover of how good God has been to you when you start looking back and remembering what He has walked you through. Today I am celebrating many wonderful things! I am celebrating how no matter how dark certain moments have appeared to be, His light has ALWAYS broken through!!! Hope & Love have ALWAYS overcome the deepest of fears.  I am celebrating the precious family He has surrounded Brett and I with and the amazing friends and loved ones who have cheered us on and been praying us through. I celebrate how He has cocooned both my daughters hearts with the same peace He has cocooned Brett and my heart with and sheltered our precious family in constant hope of abundant life! I celebrate that as an extended family He has faithfully taught us all how to walk in victory

We are Seeing the Miracles Unfold!

Precious friends and family ... we are starting to see the miracles unfold! We just KNOW that we are living in the miracle :0) Yesterday we had a scan with the specialist who discovered and diagnosed all of Zac's heart defects in August. It's been about 6 weeks since the day we heard the horrible news. As you may remember, the defects she discovered that day in "that" heart were so complex ... not only one defect, but multiple! There was the issue of only 1 chamber; only seeing one major valve from the heart to the lungs where there must be 2 and then the complication of not being able to clearly see the arch of the aorta. What she saw of it, as well as  several other specialists, it looked too narrow and underdeveloped from what we could understand. When we came back from that first scan and spoke with our friend and paediatrician ... this was one of his biggest concerns. The aortic arch is so important in the functioning of the heart!  So before we went for the
