This weekend I had the priviledge of being BEGGED by my big girl to go on her school "Summer Walk". I hate to admit that I tried to bribe her out of it by offering her a breakie at Mug & Bean ... and yet she chose the walk!!! So on went the takkies and sadly as you will see in the photos, there was no time for make-up (I know ... shock horror!!) ... we raced off to start the walk in the nick of time. What makes this so precious to me was that it was simply 1 hour and 40 minutes worth of "mommy and darling" time.
I have to admit that I am horribly out of shape and in desperate need of more exercise ... but the walk was so scenic. Funnily enough, it is a stones through from our home. Just look at what we walked through ...

Yip, you guessed it! Me trying to keep up with my 9 year old!!! And just look at her go!!!
(Seriously ... I thought I was going to pass out!!! hee hee). But I made it to the top! And you know what kept me going ...
This white chocolate, almond dipped ice-cream!!!!! Oh I just KNOW that Jesus had these invented for me :)
What a precious morning spent with my big girl! I am learning to savor every moment together because she is gowing up so fast! Mommy loves you "little bear".
