Love in Action Journey

I can hardly believe it! Our precious baby boy is a big 1 years old today!  What a phenomenal year it has been, having the privilege of raising this treasured son of our hearts. He has brought nothing but absolute joy to all of us as a family.  He truly is an every-day reminder to us of the great love, faithfulness and goodness of our amazing God.  This little guy had such a fun day! He soaked it all in. From balloons, snuggles and pressies in the morning ... ... To a super special jungle-themed party at home ... I'm sure that finally being able to tuck into a super-yummy piece of cake ... lovingly made by Granny, was well worth the year long wait ;0) And best of all is the love of family! When Gabe was born, very precious friends of our blessed us with a family photo shoot. Thank you so much my special Jess and Brad Peens Photography for these precious pictures we will always treasure.  Our beautiful girls.  They seriously are such wonderful big sisters to their little brother!   Their joy is a beacon of God's faithfulness to restore all things.   I cannot tell you how much this little guy adores his big sisters.  This is one of my favourites. This week our precious Gabriel is 6 weeks old! I know there haven't been many posts or pictures lately, but the truth is that this mommy has been on "baby-moon", followed by precious visits from special family & friends and then the reality of "baby-boot camp" as everyone went home and we have been finding our feet with new routines :0) It's been a full 6 weeks filled with lots of love and learning.  I have found so much joy in introducing this little man to my family who traveled down to meet this little prince (as my mom lovingly calls him). He has brought so much healing and joy to all of his family. On my side of the family, although he is my parents second grandson, he has been the first grandson that they have been able to hold in their arms. I cannot even begin to tell you how overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness my heart feels to be able to write to you today that "Our son is HERE and we are HOME with him!". It has been the most incredible few days! Thank you so much to every precious person who has prayed for us and encouraged us throughout our entire journey over these last 17 months. We are bubbling with joy to introduce you to our beloved Gabriel Robinson. As you can imagine we have hundreds of photo's of this little cutie pie, but they are all loaded on Proud Daddy's computer. I just have a couple to post today as little one sleeps and I tear my eyes away from his cuteness for a quick few moments to share his big arrival. The above picture was taken about an hour and a half after his birth, after his first birth. Gosh!
