I love the start of a new year. My perspective is always coloured in hope and freshness. I am well rested and refreshed after a holiday FULL of playing, laughing and hanging out with my lovely family. Oh the wonders of a break from the rutt and stress of everyday busyness :)
New years eve we turned the music up nice and load and danced with the kids until they were too tired to carry on. It is such a fun memory that I am going to carry into this year ... to live, laugh and dance more!!
We were also blessed with the opportunity of having my sis and her family to see the new year in with. I love the dynamic of a full house of children laughing, playing ... just having good clean fun together. We all swam ... played card games ... the kiddies made up their own little games ... it was WONDERFUL!!! It was so heart sore to see my kiddies cry when their cuzzies, aunty and uncle had to go home after 10 wonderful, full days! But at the same time ... my heart rejoiced over the memories that were made, the bonds that keep growing tighter and all the fun to still look forward to for future visits this year.
Here are a few pics from our holiday ...
1) Christmas Eve
2) The Christmas feast at our home
3) Tianna and Brett trying out their new Christmas pressies together (my favourite pic!)
4) New Years eve ... feasting again (with Brett's mom, dad and sis and my sis and family)
